When we move our bodies, we start a number of positive effects. Synovial fluid is secreted and helps the body to be "lubricated" from the inside. The connective tissue begins to stretch, and this strengthens the flow of energy in the body. Muscles are built when they are challenged and ligaments are strengthened when we put simple pressure on them. Blood flow is started and gives vitality to the internal organs. And the brain gets to work on coordination, balance and by being able to think about philosophical concepts. If we also do this in a wonderful group, where we both feel safe and have proximity to laughter, the health effects will be tremendous.
Senior. When are you a senior? It doesn't really matter. But this group is for those of you who are at home on Mondays. The age is usually between 55–90. Here we offer a gentle yoga class where we move at our own pace. Slow sun salutations awaken the body, challenge muscles throughout the body, soften the joints and increase blood flow. You get alternative movements if something doesn't suit you. Simple balance, coordination, mobility and focus are practiced. Many sitting and lying positions to spare the hips and knees. We use a lot of aids, such as bolsters, bands and blocks. We also give a philosophical theme to awaken a thought or self-reflection. Ends with meditation and rest. Let this be the best thing about being free during the day!

If you would like to register to take the entire course Online, you will receive a link to Zoom where the class will be broadcast. The class will be conducted with a headset with microphone, so the sound will be good. You will see the teacher and some of the students in the studio, but no one will see or hear you.
